Terms of Service
Effective October 29, 2026. Last updated October 29, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and SiteLocals ("we", "us"). By using sitelocals.com or the SiteLocals app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
The service
SiteLocals is a tool for independent website sellers. It shows local businesses on a map, highlights businesses that appear to have no website, helps you generate and host websites, bio link pages, and booking pages, and provides supporting tools such as a lead marketplace, review reply drafts, website audits, deals, and pop-ups. Features may change as the service improves.
Accounts
You sign in with your email address. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Information you give us must be accurate. You must be at least 18 years old, or using the account with authority on behalf of a business.
Plans, trials, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Where a free trial is offered, the paid plan begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Amounts already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. Prices may change; if your price changes, we will tell you before the new price is charged. Credits in the app have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not a payment method outside SiteLocals.
Your content and your rights to it
You keep ownership of the content you create or upload: text, photos, logos, and designs. You give us permission to host, display, and deliver that content as needed to run the service, including publishing the pages you mark as live. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, import, or copy with the service, including when you import or clone an existing website. Do not use the service to reproduce someone else's website, text, or images without their permission. We may remove content that infringes rights or breaks these terms; our copyright process is described on the Copyright and DMCA page.
Generated websites
Websites are generated with automated and AI-assisted tools using the business details available to us, which may come from public sources and may be incomplete. Review every generated page for accuracy before it goes live. We do not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular business.
Lead data
Business listings come from public sources (mainly OpenStreetMap contributors, the Overture Maps Foundation, and Geoapify) and are provided as is. A listing, a missing website flag, or a lead score is our best reading of public data, not a guarantee. Data may be out of date or wrong, and a business shown as having no website may have one. Attribution for listing data belongs to its sources and is shown with the data.
Contacting businesses is your responsibility
SiteLocals provides tools and templates; you decide who to contact and what to say. When you call, text, or email businesses, you are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to that outreach, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the CAN-SPAM Act, Do Not Call rules, and any state equivalents. Only contact businesses lawfully, identify yourself honestly, and honor every opt-out or do-not- contact request immediately. We are not your agent in outreach and we do not send marketing messages on your behalf.
Acceptable use
Do not use SiteLocals to break the law, infringe rights, impersonate anyone, send spam, harvest data at abusive rates, probe or overload the service, misrepresent your relationship with a business or with SiteLocals, or resell listing data in a way that strips out its source attribution. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
No promise of income
SiteLocals is a tool, not a business opportunity. We do not promise that you will find clients, sell websites, or earn any amount of money. Any examples shown on the site are illustrative only.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Some features rely on third parties (including Stripe, Supabase, and map data providers) and may be interrupted by them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to cover SiteLocals against claims, damages, and costs that arise from your content, your outreach to businesses, or your breaking of these terms or the law.
Ending the service
You may stop using SiteLocals at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or your account, for serious or repeated breaches, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive, including liability and indemnification, survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless a law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its effective date, and significant changes will be announced in the app or by email. SiteLocals is based in New York, USA. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@sitelocals.com.
